Last time I visited you could get about but Parking was a problem for anyone not living there. This was a few years ago so might be better now but can't imagine it could be worse As I found myself stopping, making a quick dash and running back to the car before being clamped! Hopefully someone else will have been more recently and can provide an update?

I'm hoping to get a couple of hours there soon just to check out the old barges so will bear in mind the parking problems.

Hi Bob,

I once went there a few years ago. A lot of it is fenced off and there's so much clutter that it's difficult to get clear photos from shore side. It's unlikely that you'll need more than 10 minutes to get what you can there..

Hi, Phil,
I've been through there on walks couple of times. I wasn't trying to photograph stuff but I did notice that the place seems to be surrounded by "private" property","no public entry" and "residents only" signs so have never bothered to go there for shipspotting. Have managed a couple of reasonable shots from boat trips on the river.
