Hi. I am going to Amsterdam for my birthday in October and wondered if any one could help me find a good affordable place to stay with good views of ships please. I have seen Botel but it's booked on the river view.
Thanks

You may be better staying somewhere at Ijmuiden? All traffic for Amsterdam and North Sea Canal passes by
Ijmuiden.

That is true, in IJmuiden you can see all the ships entering the port of Amsterdam, but pay attention; it's a rather boring place to stay

Thanks both. Ijmuiden does look busy. Where is the Fleet Bar? Can't Find it

Thanks again
