Hello Everyone

Can anyone tell me if the above area is still accessible please? I haven't been down to Southampton for a while and I did hear that houses were going to be built there!

Besy Wishes

Hi Gordon,

I don't live in Southampton but Mayflower Park was open as normal when I visited last weekend.

Regards

Mayflower Park development has been a long time coming. Plans will make it easier to gat close to the ships but someone has to stump up 450 million + inflation. see http://www.discoversouthampton.co.uk/future/city-centre-masterplan/royal-pier. Its rather a long read.
