I have received an email today saying that Instagram have removed my images from the rogue account.

Cannot understand how they still allow this man to still have an account as all his images are stolen.

I'm getting tired of Instagram.
They say all the right things but so far have only deleted individual images that I report.
I haven't been able to get them to do anything about the other 7300 images or to comment.
I'm not sure how to get any action from them
Here's what I just sent them:

No Instagram ... that is not true at all.
Instagram couldn't give a toss about intellectual property and happily facilitate image theft by your members.
I have given you evidence that shows your member nader_zahra does nothing but post stolen images and he has over 7000 on his Instagram site, posting more daily.
I've attached another listing of stolen images and the urls he stole them from just today.
I've provided this evidence for almost 100 stolen images but he blatantly posts more daily while every email from you says you "take intellectual property rights
seriously, and will take appropriate action against the
 accounts of repeat infringers"

Sorry Instagram but there's no truth in those weasel words.
A list of today's stolen images on his account is attached.
How about actually doing something more than just deleting these.
Or do I have to track down 7300 more?
And how about actually replying to my concerns?
Happy New Year (for image theft in Instagram?)

Good man Owen for trying so thoroughly.

I am sure Instagram would ignore any threats of (costly and long term) legal action.

They may respond to a threat of media publicity.

I understand your use of the word congratulations.  Thank you for including my pic on the list of stolen items.

I've run into a slight roadblock with Instagram.
As of Jan 1 Facebook are handling IP issues and today I received this:

SInce Facebook took over intellectual property reports for Instagram this year, I have been unable to get them to delete any images other than my own.
They never answer any questions and won't do anything other than delete images complained about by the image owner.
I send a listing of all the recent stolen images from Facebook with each complaint but this is ignored without even a comment.

The "good news" is that I've found an easier way to file a complaint than filling out their long form.
Just send an email to: [email protected]

The stealing and posting of images on the Instagram account of Nader Zahra continues unabated.
Its obvious that Instagram have no intention of stopping this serial offender or suspending his account.
Until they do (which I doubt) I will not post images on Shipspotting.com for him to steal.
They have removed all mine and I will not give him any more to post as his own.

I'm not sure if this is a one-off or he's trying to make things difficult but the last photo posted by nz has had the name obscured which makes it difficult to track the original.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BPh5c9VhO5s/?taken-by=nader_zahra.

I'll post something that should take his fancy and see what shows up.

It's not exact the same photo but looks like same date and same position (look at the dutch curtesy flag)
