I've run into a slight roadblock with Instagram.
As of Jan 1 Facebook are handling IP issues and today I received this:

Specifically, it is not clear to us that you are the rights owner or are otherwise authorized to submit this report on the rights owner’s behalf. I've given Charlie a serve for protecting this rogue and asked for an email addres of someone that I can talk to about this.
Charlie you are correct, those particular photos arent mine but I have been reporting this persons daily stolen photos on behalf of members of shipspotting.com. I reported many of mine he posted and have continued because instagram won't do the decent thing and take action when it is clear that every image he posts is stolen.
So far instagram has been accepting my reports but only deleting what I report when it is obvious he is going to keep posting copied photos because instagram allows him to.
He still has several of mine posted earlier.
It would be good if instagram really was serious about IP rather than just saying they are and facilitating image theft when the evidence is presented to them.
Charlie ... since no-one there really seems to take IP seriously, can you give me the email address of someone that might, a supervisor etc?
As you can see here, a lot of photographer's work has been stolen and reposted by nader_zahra.http://forum.shipspotting.com/index.php/topic,15455.0.html
I have been working to get some of these fixed.
This guy is serial copyright offender, posting more each day.
I'm baffled at how Instagram protects him and makes it so difficult to get the stolen work taken down.
