Tanker identification
« on: November 17, 2016, 06:08:08 PM »
Hello Forum,

I'm posting a photo soon of an oil tanker called STAR JAPAN.

She was spotted departing Milford Haven in 1995. However, I can find no such name of a vessel on this site. Where else may I investigate?

Regards,

Texaco renamed all their tankers from TEXACO SOMETHING to STAR SOMETHING. Most of the oil majors removed their brand names from their ships so as to avoid the bad PR such as that suffered by Exxon and Amoco when their ships (VALDES and CADIZ) were wrecked and caused major oil spills
