Tilbury Landing Stage
« on: August 22, 2016, 06:05:17 PM »
Anyone thinking of visiting Tilbury in the near future please note that parking on the Landing Stage has been suspended until further notice. Looks like they have structural problems.
The Gravesend ferry is still working with ferry passengers parking in the Cruise Terminal car park.

Thanks for the heads-up Bob. I thought this might happen at some point. Also with the recent fatality, I suspected that access would be tightened on the grounds of H&S

Shame.

Hi Phil

Apparently there's a notice saying its closed for repainting of the road bridge!

The Meercat work boat TOPLIFT was working with men on top of the structure when the tide came in. The structure looks like its dropped on one side, its normally level.

Regards

Bob

Landing stage now open again for car parking, apparently since the 4th October according to the website.
