An Irish businessman has purchased a decommissioned Boeing 767 from the Shannon Airport Authority.
Its currently sitting by the Shannon Estuary awaiting favourable weather for the plane to be transported by tug and barge from Shannon Airport to Enniscrone in County Sligo via the Atlantic coastline. The plane will be used as part of a transportation themed glamping village.
