ADONIA - IMO 9210220 at Cuba
« on: May 02, 2016, 04:55:33 PM »
Dutch newspapers report that the cruise ship ADONIA - IMO 9210220 visited Cuba. Now ADONIA is in my opinion owned by P&O but seems to be chartered out as an AMERICAN vessel. First one to visit Cuba since 1978. See the picture in the colours of Fathom? No picture in this livery so far on this website?

Duly arrived monday.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-36183192

"American" in the sense of US-owned (Carnival), and the first vessel in their new 'Fathom' brand: "As part of the Carnival family, Fathom is supported by its sister brand, P&O Cruises, in bringing impact travel to life aboard the 704-passenger Adonia, the smallest ship in the P&O fleet."
https://www.fathom.org/

Presumably livery respray during prep time at Miami 5-17 April.  Since then a couple of short cruises to Carnival's Amber Cove, Dominican Republic. Looks as if Cuba and DR alternate weeks until mid-November.
