Ship Spotting Location in New Orleans LA
« on: April 18, 2016, 01:04:48 PM »
Hey everyone, I just want to let everyone know about the place I was able to do some good ship spotting in New Orleans LA.

I was able to get a lot of good pictures from the Woldenberg Riverfront Park.

This park fronts the Mississippi River and connects the English sections and the French Section.  It is at Algier's Point where ships have to turn and makes for some great changing aspects.

Please note that New Orleans can be a very expensive city to park in.  I left my car at my hotel and walked everyone.  There are also Pedi Cabs available.

New Orleans is a very busy city with something always going on, the slowest days are usually Monday through Wednesday, but there are ALWAYS crowds, it is just a question of amounts.

Finally, there is a profound lack of public bathrooms in New Orleans, so plan accordingly.

Good Luck!!!
