Yes, Allan, it does so far as SeaWeb is concerned.  But as Vlad says, he will try to see the IMO painted up on the bridge wings (not that shipyards always get it right.
I cannot see name confirmaton yet for Daewoo 4300/4301

What hope is there?  ;D
Equasis is today showing two X 'MSC Jade'.
One with IMO 9762326 launched 03/05/2016 with Liberian registry &
the other with IMO 9762326 launched 05/04/2016 with Panamanian registry.

Hopefully the shipyard will settle on a binding decision soon.... ;)

Just data-lag, Rick

Equasis receives most of its info from IHS/SeaWeb, which in turn receives info from a variety of official sources - class, flag, shipyards, owners.

The Panama-flag one is IMO 9754953 and we now have that listed as MSC REEF.  Equasis likely now have that from IHS, and it will probably appear at their next weekly update.  Note that today it hasn't been updated on Equasis since 19/3/2016 (while IMO 9762326 was updated just three days ago)

Recently, a little bird told me that the hull No. 2158 from Samsung, IMO No. 9767390, will be named "MSC Leanne".

Cheers

Indeed various MSC NB's will now re-use names of the Odense-built (ex ML) 4,800 teu Panamaxes as these successively phase out to Alang...

MSC PILAR, MSC FEDERICA, MSC SARISKA, MSC LEANNE, MSC MANU, MSC CAROLE, MSC VERONIQUE....

Thanks Vlad, I will keep my eye out and amend the list, once confirmed.

Just to be on the safe side, we are talking about Jinhai, China, not Jinhae, South Korea, right?

Sure.  The Jinhae yard closed down some years ago, I think - and would have struggled to build anything above about 50teu, if they weren't busy with trawlers.

Still, this needs some more clarification.

Allan RO, in his post before editing, has mentioned STX shipyard, if I'm not mistaken.

There are some other yards in Jinhae in South Korea, but the word "shipyard" is usually used in connection with only one of them, and that is STX.
They are quite capable of building hulls of 400 meters, and they have already delivered dozens of ULCVs, latest ones for MSC ("MSC New York" series).

Nowadays, STX is essentially bankrupt, but there's still lots of activity in their yards at Jinhae and Goseong locations.

(And there is a rumor about MSC planning to... never mind.) :)

So, you must've had some different Jinhae shipyard in mind.
