The Ports of Auckland and Napier have the Kokopo Chief listed as calling from Newcastle Australia. Swire shipping don't have her on their schedules. Is she an addition to the transtasman schedule?

Correct Stephen, joins transtasman trade in place of Ngankin which may now be scrapped though not 100% on that.

The Rangatira IMO 7022928, which has been laid up at Timaru since July 29 2015, has finally sailed for Chatham Islands.

Is she on a Chatham Islands trade again, for a different owner? According to Marine Traffic her AIS is switched off.

I notice that the Sofrana Joinville is doing her last voyage for Sofrana. Are they going back to a two vessel operation?

Seatrade's "Royal Klipper" has just arrived in Auckland to discharge a full load of empty 40' reefer containers. As all Seatrade's exports go out through Nelson, Napier and Tauranga, why would they bring the empties into Auckland?

Rangatira is still along side No.3 North at Timaru from what I saw today. She's not gone anywhere since it's last arrival back in 2015..just taken off the ports shipping list now. Maybe a gas torch planning to visit her..?

A PELICAN to be replaced by an ALBATROS IMO 9671618..

Car carrier Hoegh Trapper was in port yesterday. Today we have Lake Taupo. Anchored in the outer harbour are Fuji Trans World, Cosmos Ace and Trans Future 6. Having cleared these hopefully by next week, we are expecting Hoegh Detroit, Garnet Ace, Talisman and Divine Ace.
The car Transporters are working overtime to try and make enough room on the wharves for the incoming vehicles and earthmoving equiptment etc.
