According to Maersk's schedule they are launching a new Shipping service. The port rotation is Shanghai, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Chiwan, Hong Kong, TAURANGA, San Antonio, San Vincente, Callao, Buenaventura, Balboa, Lazaro Cardenas, Manzanillo, Yokohama, Busan, Shanghai.

They are utising ALM Dallas, Maersk Utah, Maersk Launceston, Maersk Dhahran, Warnow Porpoise, and other vessels that at the moment are listed as Dummy.

Does anyone have any insight on this new service?

According to the Maersk schedules, Maersk Jaipur will only go as far as Sydney and her place on the OC1 Service will taken over by the Olga Maersk currently on the Northern Star service.

In turn the Maersk Jaipur will take over from the Olga Maersk on the Northern Star Service.

Neptune Pacific Line's newbuild "Pacific Venture" IMO 9743045 is due in Lautoka Friday 22 July from the builders in China. Will we see her replacing one of the vessels on the NZ-Fiji run?

The Dora C IMO 9404613 is due in Tauranga on 27 September from Pusan in South Korea. On arrival she will be renamed "Southern Fleur". She was in NZ in 2014 with this name, she also carried the name Southern Lily in 2015. I presume this will be another charter to Pacific Direct Line.

"Westport", LR 7423249, changed hands on 7 September, and when she sails from Onehunga mid-next week, she'll be flying the Bahamas flag, and sporting the name "Fjordvik".

Her initial destination will be New Plymouth, for an in-water survey, thence to Europe, where she'll carry cement for SMT Shipping, operating out of Norway.

The agent in Tauranga for Dora C is Sofrana. She is due to berth the same day as Sofrana Tourville, so maybe a replacement for her?

Won't be sailing till Sunday at the earliest - delays arising from the change of flag to Bahamas Maritime Authority.

That's no good for us down at Port Taranaki, the port says 00:00 Wednesday which means no photo if she comes straight in. Maybe get one when she leaves.
