Can't upload photos
« on: November 04, 2015, 02:52:26 AM »
Since yesterday I can't upload anything. When I enter the "location", normally a drop down menu appears with few port names related to Vancouver but this time they don't show. I can enter the location manually, thought.
However, after clicking on 'upload" button, nothing happens. No reaction of any kind.
Any thoughts?

I have sent a mail to Henrik our IT man and asked him to look at the problem and give an answer in this forum thread.

Kind regards
Derek

Hi,

I checked it out. Doesn't seem like we have any general problem with the site's upload functions.

You can try to log out and in again. This will replace cookies and other data that might at times get corrupted. If it's not working it's possible to remove the cookies for the site and try again.

If the list of locations doesn't appear, something is wrong already and upload won't work.

Regards,
Henrik

I have the same problem with uploading when using Google Chrome as the browser, did find it worked if I double clicked the upload button. All other function worked OK.
Using other browsers I had no problems.

I found Chrome gives different problems at times usually after an update but it normally corrects itself in a few days but this problem still exists after a few weeks.

Regards

Bob

Strange. We use Chrome for testing a lot. Perhaps log out and back in after an upgrade?

I use Chrome and sometimes (not always) I am unable to enter the date in the calendar box but if I continue to upload and then go back to Edit the photograph it works OK, I find this is strange

It started working well last night and today  :). Mind you, last night it worked slowly but today no problem. Whatever the problem was it worked itself out  ???. I use Mozilla, if it means something to somebody.
Cheers...
