It was a very sad emotional affair as I was there to watch the HMCS Iroquois being paid off and decommissioned. The RCN is slowly dying due to the lack of attention like most navy's of the world. Being a retired member of the RCN I can't see any improvement to our once proud Navy with the new ships yet to be built. It was a sad day indeed.
