CCGS ANN HARVEY taking on water

CCGS ANN HARVEY has hit ground today and taking on water 5 nautical miles off Burgeo, Newfoundland.

CCGS LOUIS S. ST-LAURENT, CCGS TELEOST, cormorant helicopters and warship HMCS MONTR

Divers found a 20 centimeter wide puncture in the hull.

They are welding a steel plate over the damaged hull and they are expecting to commence the tow late Saturday. The CCGS TELEOST will tow the CCGS ANN HARVEY to St.John's. The 300 nm should take 48 hours.
