ShipAIS

Anyone know what has happened to ShipAIS - the site does not seem to have been working for over 24hrs.  I find it invaluable for historic AIS traces.

cheers Ken, I did not know about the changes.   I find the site so useful, hope it's up and running again soon

Yes, the site (which I use every day) has been hit and miss (missing data),
for a couple of days but seems to be up and running again okay today.

Hi Allan, I'm presuming you are talking about shipais (the 'Liverpool' one).  I have been unable to access the site for the past few days.  However, I have my own AIS (using ShipPlotter software running wich covers the western side of Lyme Bay, Teignmouth, and Tor Bay and have it set to upload to 'shipais' (and ShipPlotter)but do not get any messages from them to say anything is wrong.  I am getting downloaded positions for ships further afield but these can come from either shipais or from ShipPlotter.

I have looked on the shipais forum and a number of persons have notified the issue there.

Cheers, best regards

Tom
