Canada’s biggest shipbuilder, Chantier Davie Canada Inc. announced the delivery today of the Cecon Pride, a 130-meter-long 28 meter wide, DP3-equipped multi-purpose offshore construction vessel.   This ship is also the biggest vessel built in Canada in 25 years and the most complex commercial vessel ever built in a North American shipyard according to Davie’s CEO, Alan Bowen.

Interesting to note vessel renamed for her first contract in the Med.
Managed to catch her while anchored off i'le d'orleans July 20.....   :-)

The CECON PRIDE, now the MICOPERI PRIDE is well on her way for her mayden voyage across the Atlantic. She is expected in Limassol early in september. To all her crew we wish a safe and happy journey. Congratulations to the designers, builders and navigators.

The CECON PRIDEis now approaching Gibraltar on her first crossing of the Atlantic on her way to Limassol.
