HMAS BUNDABERG On fire
« on: August 11, 2014, 05:25:26 AM »
A large navy ship has gone up in flames east of Brisbane.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus are battling to contain the fire in a commercial boat shed on Barku Court in Hemmant, about 11 kilometres east of the CBD. About 50 firefighers and 16 fire trucks are at the scene.
Authorities have confirmed the ship on fire is the HMAS Bundaberg, a navy vessel that was in Brisbane for repairs.

It's really sad to hear that the HMAS Bundaberg has reportedly been gutted by fire as emergency crews desperately attempt to control the blaze. No body injured in this incident. To stop the fire nearly 50 crew and 100 firefighters attended.
