Thanks for these two most interesting links. Carnival Pinnacle looks really cool, but I still prefer the Poseidon. A pity Petersen already sank her ;D

Shaun, the architect can't be too bad. Actually Poseidon is one of the few ship which were completely lost TWICE! First in 1972 and then again in 2006 ;D ;D

I am now 100% sure a new architect is required!

Whilst I understand the problems that you refer to regarding Canberra, given that she remained in service for the greater part of 40 years I don't think you can really consider her to have been a real disaster. More a case of victory (or success) having been grasped from the jaws of disaster.

Well maybe a new Canberra could have some features removed,eg, the Swiss cheese stern and vile twin funnels.

Oh, I forgot about the inconsistent superstructure, classic to the PO and Orient ships of the era, this should be changed on the Canberra 2 we are designing!' :)

This is untrue, there was no need to end this forum so bitterly.

Pluralis majestatis? Suffering from some delusions of grandeur, Clive?

"Virtually every statement you have posted on this site"... and how presumptuous of you, too! >:(

How can anyone take Clive palmer seriously, he is a politician after all.  Besides who ever heard of China building a cruise ship?  I think Phil English summed titanic ii up pretty well in a earlier post.  Also what does Clive palmer know about cruise ships, he made his money from mining.
