This is good news that Liverpool will be a host port to the new G4 ships of ACL when they arrive. Although this quintet are not some of the worlds's largest ships. The largest ships Liverpool will be able to handle is 2 13,500TEU ships at one time. And these are still nowhere near the largest in the worlds, this honour goes to the Triple E class from Maersk at.18,000 TEUs, soon to be replaced by 19,000 TEU ships from CSCL.
