Rich Habib from Titan speaks salvage
« on: February 23, 2014, 10:53:53 AM »
Hi all

Titans Rich Habib talks about the industry and Costa Concordia etc.

http://gcaptain.com/growth-technology-marine-salvage-rich-habib-titan-salvage/

And the story of the rescue of the Cougar Ace here: http://www.wired.com/print/science/discoveries/magazine/16-03/ff_seacowboys

I found both to be amazing and interesting reads. Old news I know. But for those that missed them check them out  :)

This item is Shipspotting at its very best,it is was written in a clear and concise manner. It was easily understood and explained the salvage task confronting the Salvours.
All I can say this site fills all maritime matters and requiremnts in excellent manner.
Well done the management and administration and thankyou.

Seem to remember a couple of Titan divers got in trouble for looting from the wreck, was that right or did I imagine it ?
