Is there any news on the fate of the ESNAAD 715? Did she sink? Would be a shame. It's a nice vessel, I saw her last year at the Damen yard in Gorinchem.

ESNAAD 715 is drifting since the mayday call two days ago.Tug SAR GAVIA is in the vicinity trying the towing helped by helicopter, but failed due to very bad weather.
It is said that ESNAAD 715 is in NO risk of sinking.
I wonder what happened to convince the philipino master to send a distres call

Hi Juergen ,I think it is a problem with AIS reception, but now the tug SAR GAVIA has taken in tow the ESNAAD 715 https://twitter.com/salvamentogob?original_referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.salvamentomaritimo.es%2F&profile_id=399345170&tw_i=431395812094914560&tw_p=embeddedtimeline&tw_w=380627412066648064

Jepp, that incident was bad luck.
But the "Luno" was a rather small coaster but a giant cargo ship.
