Yesterday, the cargo ship Croatia (IMO 7920479) ran aground after unloading scrap metal to Erdemir port and leaving to anchor in harbor. Heavy winds and high seas dragged the ship to the shore. Two tugs from Erdemir Port rushed to help but they could not help her to run aground. The ship beached parallel to shore line and damage to the hull can be seen.
