Understand SD SEAHORSE will come over to complete the team - I suppose that, as with SD SHARK, Kotug will wait until she is actually needed.

I note that the tug SD SALVOR made a visit to LGW today, looks like it could be interesting, tug wise on the Thames, once the new facilities are fully operational.

Regards

It may prove to be more interesting in this transitional stage, before they permanently station a 3rd/4th tug as there will a variety.  This call was for the arrival of tanker SKS DOKKA.  AIS says SD SALVOR is going to Dundee next, but her track so far looks more like Rotterdam.

The major shipping lines are not exactly scrambling over themselves to get a bit of the action at London Gateway yet, are they?

Schedules now include details of the upgraded vessels entering the SEACS service calling at London Gateway:

All are 2013 new builds and each has a 6900 teu capacity: Rhodos, Alexandra, Amoliani, Katherine, Kea, and Skiathos.

Some of the vessels appear to have been operating on Far East - US services.
