This is a conspiracy, I'm telling you!

 ;D

Search for "Marie Maersk" redirects to "Mary"...at least on my computer.

Edit: while AIS correctly shows Marie where she should be... :)

At 1300Z today am unable to even get into marinetraffic.com . After the 15th it was still showing the old format. What happened to the new format as advertised to happen October 15th?

Old & new working OK here in UK using Google Chrome.

Are you using the new website address?

Hi Bob,
The old site is not coming up but I was able to register on the new site a few days ago. I can't get into it today for reasons unknown. I'll keep trying till I succeed.

Try to Log Out and then Log In again.
The Log In should be saved but I think it's a bug.

I think its a case of updating to much i personally prefer the old one as i get a full screen of map when copared to the new one i only get half a screen of map and the other half of adverts, i now am using the ship finder maps for watching stuff around the solent, but i use marine traffic for logging where ships have arrived from which is difficult if the data only goes back 24 hours for a non subscriber!!

Well, now they did the right thing and "upgraded" me to PRO plan - and I was just thinking of suggesting them myself that they do it (half joking!), having in mind all the photos I uploaded there...

Hi Ken, & all of you fellow shipspotters. Just went yo my site & am unable to get anything. Been around shipspotting for years & completely satisfied with the free access i,ve had to this beautiful site for us older seamen. I can,t afford any monthly payments to have site but according to KEN i,m supposed to have some access for free. What has happened here if that is so? Would greatly appr. reply asap to where i go from here as it would be a deep empty pit to miss the comadre of this site which has become part of my life.  "SNOCKY"

Sorry Snocky, I don't understand. This thread is dedicated to the changes which occurred to marinetraffic.com, a site completely unrelated to shipspotting.com.

Which site are you having trouble accessing? If it's shipspotting.com (which is this site) there have been no changes whatsoever to free access - if you are experiencing difficulties it is more than likely an issue with browser settings your end. Perhaps try a different browser, for example.

if you are having difficulties with Marine traffic, then I suggest that you contact them directly.

Brgds
Phil
