At 8:18 pm EDT (28-August 00:18 UTC), vtslite.siistech.com showed Azalea Galaxy
moored in the Chelsea River at the head of Boston Harbor (Massachusetts).
At 8:27 pm (00:27 UTC), vtslite's icon for Azalea had disappeared.
A search for "Azalea Galaxy" returns "Selected ship/AtoN not found".
Fleetmon.com shows her moored in the Chelsea River, but says this position
is 12 hours old and that the ship is out of range.
- IMO: 9343778 MMSI: 371823000
Shipspotting.com says Azalea Galaxy is moored in Boston.
- MMSI: 371823000 IMO: 9343778
This is the Port History from shipspotting.com for Azalea Galaxy:
2013 August 28th, 21:00:35 UTC Newyork
2013 August 28th, 08:00:28 UTC Boston,usa
MarineTraffic.com shows her 77 nm east of Barrington, Nova Scotia,
with her destination as "BOSTON,USA".
- IMO: 9343778, MMSI: 371823000
I've included the IMO and MMSI numbers from the sites to show that
they are referencing the same vessel.
How can these AIS positions differ so markedly?
Where is Azalea, actually?
Any help would be appreciated!
