Yacht in Sharpness
« on: April 13, 2013, 04:49:59 PM »
Whilst in Sharpness (UK) the other day I came across an old yacht called MISS CONDUCT with a helicopter (if its real) on the heli deck. Apart from a few photos, I cannot find any info about her on the web.

Does anyone know her history?

Regards

Bob

Peculiar yacht - can't find anything either - and tatty since at least last summer in the Azores.  Helicopter may be real, but non-functioning - no rotors (could be removed in storage) or registration letters visible - and looks unchanged since last year.

Hi

The helicopter is a Rotorway and is real. A aviation friend of mine has been trying to find out its registration but the owners are on a world tour at the moment. The yacht has been present since last year although I can't say when it arrived.

Hope this helps

Gordon

What happened to those wheelhouse windows - looks somewhat bent, doesn't it?

As an aircraft maintainer, in my opinion the helicopter is an unfinished kit. Although it has it's tail rotor it looks remarkably bare otherwise, no exhaust system under the back suggests tit does not have an engine. It could be not yet registered so would not have a registration.
You can buy a flying secondhand one for about
