don,t forget, a lot big container companies (CPO for example) have now bulkers too. They only had container until the crash, then a lot container contracts which they had with yards in china were converted into bulk-ship contracts. As you guys can see,,they mostly have only big bulkers,,i.e. big container contracts into big bulker contracts.
The effect is the same,after the conatiner companies managed to destroy their own market they stampeded into the bulker market and manged to destroy that section of shipping too.
Typical for todays shipping management seemingly reacting to self created downturn by doing the same again. The word "planning" does not exist anymore in the maritime vocublary,exept for passage planning,, but then,,for that managers wouldn,t be qualified anyhow
