REQ: Liverpool & Birkenhead Docks
« on: April 08, 2013, 10:09:48 AM »
Hi All

Yesterday I was in Liverpool visiting the flotilla. I wonder if anyone could help me with a couple of queries please?

By the dock where the scrap mound is there is a (ex ferry type)presumably going to be cut up, can anyone help with its identity please and also the ship that is nearly submerged in Birkenhead docks which I read as Sarsia, correct name and types.

Many thanks and all best wishes

Gordon

Sarsia is correct. It was a used by the Fisheries people as a research vessel.
