Another accident on a Hurtigruten vessel
« on: March 14, 2013, 08:50:18 AM »

Norwegian coastal shipping line Hurtigruten this week has suffered another accident. While showing tourists the opening of Trollfjord, the MS Kong Harald hit the rocks and ran aground; once the tide rose the vessel was able to refloat and continued on to the next stop in Svolvaer.

The company has cancelled the scheduled trips for the next week; MS Kong Harald will be out of service and will undergo dry-dock repairs As reported by the local press, there were no injuries and the passengers disembarked safely

I'm far away from the sea to Hamburg I have a longer distance as to Venice or Genova. My favorite is the Suez Canal, Panama Canal and since 2006 also Chinese harbours.
