Norwegian coastal shipping line Hurtigruten this week has suffered another accident. While showing tourists the opening of Trollfjord, the MS Kong Harald hit the rocks and ran aground; once the tide rose the vessel was able to refloat and continued on to the next stop in Svolvaer.
The company has cancelled the scheduled trips for the next week; MS Kong Harald will be out of service and will undergo dry-dock repairs As reported by the local press, there were no injuries and the passengers disembarked safely
