Dave, I haven't seen any ships for more than 12 hours! Thankfully large Favourtes folders helped me to survive!
But will this happen again?
Regards,
Denis

Same over here too. When I finally got here today I saw no indications of the site having been down.
Luckily there were other sites with ships :)

Looks like some of us have been surprised to find that there is actually life outside shipspotting.com. Maybe we will be told eventually what happened.

Hi Ken,

Yes, these things will happen from time to time. It has to be remembered that this site is run for free, so considering that and the size of the site today it is quite remarkable how well things generally carry on. I don't think there are grounds for complaint if there is the occasional mishap. If anybody had to pay to be on here it would of course be a different matter.

Best Regards
John J.

A bit of a relief to learn that others experienced the same problem.
However, I still am unable to open Category Quicklist.
Anyone got that problem?

Clive,

Yes I think the downtime was experienced by everybody and I have raised the issue of the category quicklist not functioning with our webmaster who will forward to those that can fix it.

Best Regards
