The ex us navy ex foss tug Craig Trans was detained in Halifax due to deficiencies including the crew running out of food 3 days prior to arrival

She was going to tow the Kathryn Spirit near Bauharnois along the seaway close to Montr

Quite close to get out of the seaway closing on the 29th!
Several tow scenarios are under contemplation according to local MP.

With all the paper works,the pull out from the shore and the navigability autorisation for the Kathryn Spirit, she will probably spend another winter in the seaway!
