Hi Chris,

I see that both LAEMTHONG GLORY (7533006) and LAEMTHONG PRIDE (7627948) are now heading for India, LAEMTHONG GLORY has eta Mumbai 13/12-2012 and LAEMTHONG PRIDE has eta Mumbai 17/12-2012, so I guess they are on their final journey.

Brgds,
Geir

Hi Geir

Not sure I have been checking LLOYDS ISR, MIRIMAR etc, their appears to be an enlarged Freedom Type with same basic dimensions of a FRIENDSHIP class Bulk Carrier.

As far as I can make out the following ships built to this standard were

8018065 POROS B/UP
8115322 ARABELLA still in service as ALBARELLA
8118255 AGAMEMNON still in service as LONG AN CHENG
8306888 ARISTOTELIS still in service as PRINCESS K.
8306890 K.TOPIC still in service as CHEROKEE EXPRESS
8306905 OKIM still in service as DENNY Z.

Hopefully you will photogrpah them before they are razor blades.

Regards

Chris

Hi Chris,

I hope to see one or two before it is to late, LONG AN CHENG (8118255) is visiting Koh Si Chang regulary and has eta 29/11-2012 but I am in the North Sea and want be home before 11/12-2012 so i guess I will miss her this time. The SAINT DEMETRIOS has the same dimensions as the other Freedom Mk II vessels, her loa. is 145,52 and br. is 21,04 m. Here are a link that might confirm that she is a Freedom Mk II type: http://articles.janes.com/articles/Janes-Merchant-Ships/FREEDOM-Mk-II-type-Japan.html

Geir
