The 12600 GRT 1985 built reefer SUMMER MEADOW joined her 3 sisters this afternoon for lay up just north of King Harry Ferry on the river Fal Cornwall. She completed her last voyage from Turbo to Antwerp and then went to dry dock for a few days before proceeding at 20kts to Falmouth
2 things I'm not sure of ..
1 .. Why go into dry dock before an indefinate period of lay up (maybe next voyage will be to the breakers?)
2 .. Why go at full service speed to lay up ??
Thanks
Mike
