Marseille, Shipspotting in Marseille, France
« on: May 23, 2012, 09:33:54 AM »
Dear Shipspotters,

Staying two days in Marseille, Provence, I am searching informations about spotting places in Marseille. I'm specially interested in an access to the sea to follow the leaving cruise liners near Saint-Henri or l'Estaque.
If you know something helpful for that project, or you know some contact, please inform me.

Best Regards
J

Hello,

One of the most pleasant place is Pharo's park, historical place (see joined map). It is located at entrance of Vieux Port and is easy to reach from dowtown. Not the best place for cruise ships but convenient for ferries and some other ships. Other places I know are most difficult to reach (if you do not have a car) and authorisation from authority is requested. Usually, authorisation is granted if you contact port authorities several days before.
