No, as you can read in the French report, the ship was built in 1965 as a harbor tug and was then used in Sweden. Recently, the ship was based in Gibraltar, where a company had bought it 2009 for wreck search. Philip Berriman was captain until 2010. The boat was sold two months ago after having been put up for sale on E-bay for 33,000 pounds (

Kelvin: The vessel you mention is AQUARIUS I. The one that sank was just AQUARIUS.

The press report quoted by Michael Floch is definitive. I only can add that it seems  Aquarius had not AIS on board ,so no ais records of her stage at A Coru
