IMO Number research
« on: March 08, 2012, 03:45:20 AM »
Dear All, I am compiling a list of cruise ships built since 1950. I've managed to find IMO numbers for most, but there are some I need help to find - mainly because several ships have the same names. Also I've sometimes been given two (or more) numbers for the same ship.
So, if I may, can I ask for some help, please? For the time being I will put up a name and date of building and if anyone wants further details to make sure of which ship, I will supply same.
ADONIS, built poss 1965, subsequent name Atlantis, 1976
EMPRESS of AUSTRALIA, built 1960/1, subsequent names, 1. Empress, 2. Stena Express 3. Royal Pacific
EUGENIO C built 1964. I have 3 IMO numbers from various places - IMO 6415429, or 6502024 or 6503124
FINLANDIA, built 1966, is she IMO 7005190 or 6622458
ITALIA, built 1965, is she IMO 6313994 or 6513994
MOLEDET (Moledot?) built 1961, subsequently Alexandros, 2. Jupiter, owned by Epirotiki IMO ???
NORDNORGE, built 1964, subsequently World Link, 2 Island Explorer  IMO ??? Many thanks for help

Thank you Victor, has been a very busy day and this is the first chance I have had to look online.
