My malware protection says there is a “Trojan” on this site that needs to be cleared away before this site can be secure and safe. Anyone know what that means Huh

Sad to say, wildfires everywhere are now the new normal and probably will be every year until we get an effective correction of our ongoing climate change.

May not be a problem for you or for some others; but, if I am going to support this site with a donation, I think a Safe and Secure site is not too much to ask.

Right now, I can get in with an exception from my malware protection; but, no more contributions from me as long as that "NOT Secure" notation appears.

If this site was safe to use with my Microsoft 10 PC I could post a lot of first time spotted ships that are now going other places.  When is this site going to be https ready?HuhHuh

Has a time line been established regarding move to https? Also, what is the status re malware issue ?

Great question, if this resolves the warnings and makes this site clear to use, when will the move to https be completed?Huh

Right now I am posting to Vessel Finder site which has no security issues.

My iPad also says this site is not secure and the apple security is NOT the same as Microsoft or malware bytes.

Hopefully the latest unsafe issues will be resolved in honor of Ken’s Legacy.

By passing the  safety features is NOT a  good solution if you want to protect your computer from malware.

Has anyone tried to use Malwarebytes to do a scan of the Shipspottig.com site? Maybe such a scan will reveal some of the troublesome code.

Agree with many of the comments that the problem seems to come from ads.  What is confusing for a former Supporter is that we were supposed to be ad free if we provided support!!!?Huh??
