1  Shipspotters all over the world / Site related news, functions and modules / Re: COPYRIGHT on: April 06, 2011, 05:45:33 pm
Hi Technical guy of this site,

Is it possible to create a tool, that the owner must give his/her permission before the picture can be dowloaded.

Also make downloading only possible for members that are logged in, and no longer for only guets.

Please understand me not wrong, I know there where in the past more topic about this, but now it's only for downloading, not for viewing!

Regards,
Freger65
Wink

Hi All,

We can't better say than with Fred his words, we only add some more: [Fred thanks for using them Wink]

When we started here (26-09-2005) we too had that same feeling, nice community not to big, and a great group with the same hobby, all like ships & shipspotting and all around.
That is all gone for both of us. We don't feel that strong bond anymore, since many nice friends have left the site already.
The way this site navigates is no fun for me us anymore.
This is also the reaons why we stopped our photo uploading on 31/12/2010.
We're still a member but our visits are less often.

Best regards,
Freger65  Wink

Hi All,

Here a picture of the capsized German chemical Inland tanker; 'WALDHOF' in better days seen at 02/09/2009.
Seen on the Sea canal Brussels-Scheldt downstream passing Ruisbroek/Puurs (Belgium)

Our thoughts goes to the crew of the ship, their family, relatives and friends.
We wish them all lots of strengths in this nightmare.

You can find 2 pictures of this tanker in out album here:

Hi Patrick,

We have no problems with www.marinetraffic.com, the site works perfect only a delay of 15 minutes.
We use the browsers: IE, Mozilla, Google Chrome & Opera on our pc, works fine with all of these.
For 'refresh now' you can also use F5, works better than the refresh now link.

Greetings from a cold and wet Willebroek, Belgium,

8  Shipspotters all over the world / Shipping News and information / Re: PEIKKO grounded at Nykøbing Mors - Limfjorden, Denmark - FREE AGAIN on: September 27, 2010, 03:18:16 am
PEIKKO FREE

The Cypriot cargo vessel Peikko is no longer aground at the entrance to Nykøbing Mors - Limfjorden, Denmark.

Salvage tug HUGIN from Switzer pulled the ship free at early morning on Sonday . Peikko is now anchored off Nykøbing, but later she shall sail to the dock for unloading at Monday.

The coaster ran aground Thursday morning, perhaps because the skipper had turned too early, when he was sailing into the Port of Nykøbing.

The ship is not released yet. It must first be examined by divers so you are sure it is seaworthy after the grounding.
