Was this sort of post the idea of the administrators when they created this category within the forum?

I believe that's exactly what this forum is for

The end of one era and the start of another.

I think she still takes bicycles but no longer motorbikes, a few longer journeys for some then.

Hi Phil

She's still moored at Gravesend. No idea what's happening with her but I heard that the owners are going to operate the Princess Pocahontas till the end of the season, after that, we will have to wait and see.

The Princess Pocahontas is on the slip at Dentons at the moment

10  Shipspotters all over the world / Help and Advice / Re: Dover Western Docks on: May 02, 2017, 02:15:34 pm
Thanks Tedingham. I was hoping the Prince of Wales pier was open again  Sad
Last time I went to Dover I hoped to get one of the AIDA ships but ended up on top of the cliffs to get a view. The Disney boat was on my hit list for this year as well.
Maybe I'll try the Dover White Cliffs tour boat but last time I did that we were so close it was impossible to get a decent photo.

Thanks again

Bob

Hi,

Thinking of trying to catch some of the cruise ships at Dover during the summer, with all the construction work going on, what are the photo opportunities like in the Western Docks?
