Monday afternoon in Western Australia and the site appears to be very slow, taking many minutes to load a picture or shift to a different section. User activity doesn't appear to be high but site access is sluggish.

I am also experiencing long delays in viewing photos, some are taking over ten minutes to be displayed.I appreciate that it is difficult to meet everyones expectation on a site such as this and trust the tech staff will rectify it in a timely manner, in the mean time, a nice cup of tea is called for...

Using the latest version of Firefox with the add-on Smart HTPPS I have had no problems with warnings. This add on changes seamlessly any HTTP site to an Https, with the ability to over ride should the need arise. For those who may wish to give it a go I can only say that it seems to work for me.
Any comments or observations on others using this feature would be appreciated.

This is strange, Nortons is still blocking Firefox from accessing this site, but, for me, Google Chrome works.....

Likewise, have had it pop up a few times, my Norton has blocked and removed it. Hope this is not a new round of potential site problems developing!

Had no problems up to today, now am riddled with coinminer 6&8. Have removed Java and installed no coin, it tells me page is infected, but won't remove or block it. Nortons tells me it is being blocked, not sure wherther it is safe to use the site or not. Norton tells me that it is Shipspotting that is attacking my computer...

Thanks for the opportunity to comment.
With so many restrictions on where photographs can be taken due to port security, such as fences, obstructions, etc., some lee way should be allowed. However I appreciate that this could prove more difficult to control than retaining the current rules. No simple answers spring to mind, but mentioned for member consideration.

Hi Captain Ted,

Thanks for your reply, that explains the situation and I now can see the reason, I assume in day time only the tug would carry an under-tow signal, if more than one tug is used and both have a towing line connected to the stranded vessel would both towing vessels be required to indicate they are towing?

Kindest Regards   Tonypad
