Title: Great Lakes (Tugs & Workboats)
Post by: kensmith on January 01, 2011, 08:19:51 am
Hi All,

A new sub category has been added under BULKERS and is named Great Lakes (Tugs & Workboats)

I am sure that there is an interest is this type of vessel for the Great Lakes fans so if you have any on the site either in TUGS or WORKBOATS then please transfer them to the the new sub category.

I will go through and make some transfers but if you have any problems then please let me know.

Kind regards
Ken

Well, a Happy New Year to you Ken

But why?  How can tugs be a sub-set of bulkers?  Who wants this?  If tugs or workboats on the Great Lakes are so different (and after nearly 50 years of interest I didnīt get it yet), it should be a subset of "tugs".

Thanks very much for creating this separate category for our Great Lakes tugs, etc.  I will try to make good use of it! ;D

Thanks for explanation.  Surely then a umbrella heading for 'Great Lakes shipping' (then subsets for bulkers, tugs etc etc as required) would be better than putting the tugs or anything else under the 'wrong' ship type.
