Title: M/V SILHOUETTE
Post by: barney00 on January 29, 2010, 10:26:43 PM
I am trying to find information on the Honduran-flagged freighter SILHOUETTE, which was lost north of Miami, Florida, on June 15, 2003.  If anyone has basic construction history and dimensions, I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide.  Unfortunately, I don't know the IMO number for this vessel.  USCG reports she was either 160 or 202 feet long - inconsistencies in newspaper reports.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Mike

I found some additional notes in my folder - maybe this will help track down the vessel's history and statistics?

IMO number 7529457
ANTXON MARI
NIDIA LEONOR

Last actual name may have been L-SILHOUETTE or L. SILHOUETTE perhaps?
