Post by: lappino on April 06, 2020, 09:21:47 AM
You've heard it here first...

"Milano Bridge" (IMO No. 9757187) collided with three gantry cranes today around 15.50 local time as she arrived at Busan New Port, managing to completely destroy one of them. Crane operator escaped with minor injuries only; berthed container vessel "Seaspan Ganges" also received minor damage from the contact with the culprit.

Exactly one day after the incident, she was finally berthed at Busan New Port, ex-Hanjin terminal. Floating crane was on the scene to start dismantling her damaged aft lashing bridges, as well as the remains of the crane, still entangled at her stern.
