It's getting really serious now. To lay up 18 cruise ships for two months or more is a major decision.

The UK Govt’s advice that old people should not go on cruises could spell disaster for more than one operator. I am in my 70s and would not contemplate going on a cruise where there are hordes of kids on-board.

And CMV has cancelled now several cruises, including mine with MAGELLAN from Rotterdam to Gibraltar and the Canaries next week......

Costa Crociere cancels all cruises until April 3rd, Tui Cruises has cancelled seven cruises...
(And for the first time in 300 years "Hamburger Fischmarkt" is cancelled, too!)
PS: Costa's subsidiary AIDA also cancels all cruises until the beginning of April...
