Title: Stolt tankers in the Bosphorus.
Post by: teachers on February 19, 2020, 02:25:50 PM
I have never seen, photographed or seen on Marine Traffic a Stolt tanker in the Bosphorus.for such a big company with many ships.
Has anyone ever seen or photographed one?.
I was beginning to wonder if they are barred.
President Erdogan is planning a canal to replace the Bosphorus, i beleive this is mainly to stop chemical and crude oil from transiting the Bosphorus.

Well, Black Sea is probably just not their market / trade (there is more crude / product and less specialized chemicals). It's difficult to ban someone from using the straits in terms of international law...

Nice photo Neil, thanks for adding to the topic.
I really like the Stolt tankers, especially the colours when they are freshly painted.
