In fact, the APPOLO was twice involved in ramming quays, once at Blanc-Sablon, and, after repairs, at Matane. It was after the second incident that the federal government agency responsable for the security in transports concluded that the ship was finally not seaworthy because of defects in electrical wiring, unreliable bow thruster, among other problems.

The thing is that when the Soci
