Title: Ship identification on photograph - research vessel?
Post by: Axel Huettemann on August 23, 2018, 09:54:14 pm
Hello,

is one maybe able to identify the ship on the left image border?

To me it looks like Explora or Prospekta  7016981 / 7016981 due to their distinctive twin funnels, but I am not sure if one of these survey vessels have ever been in the research ship colours as this one is pictured (as Polarstern, Meteor, etc.).

Thanks!

Axel

Hi,

thanks for reply, the tugs I know, but I mean that ship in the far distance on the left image border.

Any idea?

Best regards,

Axel
