Dear all.

It is with great sorrow that I have to announce, that our good friend and shipphotographer Ivan Egeriis has passed away after a short period of illness.
His ash was scattered in the water outside of his home on the island of Sams

Thank you, Jesper, for bringing us this news, sad though it is.
If you are in contact with the family, please extend the condolences of his ShipSpotting friends.

I note that he was a member for many years (listed as Member No.40) and was apparently on-site as recently as just last month.
Provided no objection is raised, his eight images on-site will remain, to honour his memory and contribution to ShipSpotting.
